What is it?

URGENT Cyber Safety Message!
What we need from you?
Please alert all staff & students to attempts by bad actors to compromise APS accounts. These “Bad actors” are sending out emails disguised as legitimate ones and attempting to lure unsuspecting staff and student to inadvertently provide their APS login credentials (username/password).
How do you handle it?
If you receive any of these messages, forward them to netsecure@atlanta.k12.ga.us and delete them immediately.
For staff members with MFA Authentication abilities on their phones, DO NOT “Approve” or “Authorize” access to connect to your account if you have not initiated the request from outside the APS network.
2023-2024 Cyber Security Training
To better protect our system from unwanted cyber-attacks, all APS employees have been enrolled in the “2023-2024 IT Mandatory Cyber Security” Training.”
